I don't know if it helps, but I am using the RadContentTemplateTile to do just this. In my case I have a radRadialGauge showing the number of users connected to my system, and the peekTemplate contains a label with alist of the connected user names.
I do have an issue with the content of the pekkTemplate not showing scrollbars, but that's another story! - and one that has been resolved, basic CSS error with nested divs, my bad, sorted now.

Phil,
thanks!. I asked this question in the beta forum and they said it would be available. But I looked through the release notes and did not see it.
Seems like a really cool feature all by itself. not sure why they would not want top advertise that, or at least mention it.

Hi guys,
We are, indeed, planning to have a LiveTile, yet I cannot provide a real ETA for that.
@Marty - I am sorry if I have not been clear enough in the other thread in the beta forums. The LiveTile is not available in the Q2 2013 release. Once it is available it will be announced in the release notes.
We also intend to have the tiles available as separate controls, so you could plug them in various places in the page, so this may be similar to what you are looking for.
@Phil - I believe the case was resolved in the support ticket and the issues was that the peektemplate content needs explicit dimensions and overflow set to auto. If the peekTemplate content is larger than the tile it will simply be clipped by default. I am posting this here for others that may have a similar question.

Marin,
Thanks. Hopefully sooner then better. Peek templates would make some things I would like to do much easier.
