I create a sample project that will occour the same exception.
(Admin: The link is removed due to violation of Telerik Reporting License agreement for DEV assemblies distribution. Please, use the support ticketing system to submit demo projects.)

Thanks.

Hi Lemon,

We downloaded the demo project before removing it. In future, we kindly ask you to post projects through the support ticketing system to avoid publishing DEV assemblies publicly.
Thank you for your understanding.

About your question, there is an issue on exporting an image in JPEG format through the Reporting REST service. The issue is forwarded to our development team for further investigation and your Telerik points are updated to thank you for bringing our attention to the issue.

I can suggest you to hide the export in Image format and use standard Javascript/CSS/HTML to include the option in the viewer's export options drop down menu. The injected option can post to your controller's action where the report is exported programmatically in JPEG - Exporting Report Programmatically.
The OutputFormat can be specified as deviceInfo passed to the ReportProcessor instance.

Let us know if we can be of any further help for you.

Regards,
Stef

Hello Lemon,

I now evaluate your bug report and we will need some additional information.

Generally the JPEG image format is not a multi page format like TIFF. Thus if you have a report with 10 pages I am not sure how the report viewer should handle the export operation.

Please elaborate further on your scenario and expectations if the report has more than one page.

Regards,
Peter
