2 org chart questions

1. We are currently using the beta version of the org chart control in our MVC app and in the process of purchasing the full suite.
Are there any major changes or breaking changes between the beta (v2.0.50727) and release version when we switch over?

2. We also have a requirement to generate a PDF or even a simple image to have a hard copy version of the chart. This is critical in our application. Do you know if this functionality will be supported or have an idea how to accomplish this?

Straight to your questions.

1. There are no major or breaking changes between beta and release version.
2. For now, RadOrgChart does not support PDF export. That suggestion is in our ToDo list, so we will consider it for future releases.

Hi,

I noticed that in some of your orther charting controls you have the ability to save the charts as an image.
Will this also be a feature of the organization tool?

Do you know any tools or products that maybe be able to create an image or pdf from the org chart html?
I've tried serveral but either the javascript isn't executed to organize the chart or the nodes get renedered out of place or on top of each other.

For now, we are considering only PDF export. Unfortunately I cannot recommend you any tool to transfer html to an image/pdf.

Hi,

We made a research I found out a tool which allows to convert every document to pdf. Please review the following link. Here is a video how to work with the program after you install it.
Regarding your question about the PDF feature - I can't give you exact time frame when it will be implemented.
