we recently upgraded our application from Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX 2025 Q2 to Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX 2026 Q2.

Since the upgrade, we have encountered an issue with the RadWindow control when it contains a RadAjaxPanel.

The height and width of the RadWindow are calculated incorrectly. As a result, the content inside the RadWindow is either cut off or the window is significantly larger or smaller than expected.

We were able to reproduce the same behavior in the official Telerik demo:

We have attached a screenshot showing the incorrect behavior in the Telerik demo.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the Telerik RadWindow AutoSize demo.
2. Use a RadAjaxPanel inside the RadWindow.
3. Compare the behavior between Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX 2025 Q2 and 2026 Q2.
4. With 2025 Q2, the window size is calculated correctly.
5. With 2026 Q2, the height and/or width is calculated incorrectly.

Expected behavior

The RadWindow should automatically calculate its size based on the actual dimensions of the content inside the window, including the content of the RadAjaxPanel.

Actual behavior

With Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX 2026 Q2, the RadWindow calculates an incorrect height and width when a RadAjaxPanel is present.

Could you please let us know:

• Is this a known issue in 2026 Q2?
• Was there a change in the RadWindow or RadAjaxPanel auto-sizing behavior between 2025 Q2 and 2026 Q2?
• Is there a recommended workaround or configuration we can use?
• Will this issue be fixed in an upcoming release?

Since the issue can also be reproduced in the official Telerik demo, we assume that this is related to a change in the Telerik controls rather than our application.

I have a page which opens from a master page in RadWindow. Inside it I have RadGrid with ClientDeleteColumn.
When I set ClientIDMode=“Static” of RadGrid, OnGridCreated client event stops firing and clicking ClientDeleteColumn returns JavaScript error “Cannot read properties of null (reading ‘_clientDelete’) but the codebehind delete method executes. If I remove ClientIDMode=“Static” everything looks fine, OnGridCreated fires, clicking ClientDeleteColumn gets no errors but the codebehind delete method doesn’t execute (no log entries and after reloading the page the “deleted” row returns). What could be the problem and how to solve it? Thanks!

When I click Download Free Trial, I'm redirected to a request form instead of receiving a download link. I submitted the request, but I haven't received any response or email with the installer.

Could you please let me know:

• Is there any other way to obtain the trial installer?
• How long does it typically take to receive the download link after submitting the request?
• Is there a direct download page available?

I am trying to obtain an old Telerik release:

RadControls_Q3_2007_SP2

I no longer have an active subscription, but I previously used Telerik products in the past.

Could you please let me know:

• Is it still possible to access or restore this archived version?

• If older account or purchase information is available, what would the process be to regain access?

• What information would be required to verify eligibility?

This request is for maintenance of a legacy application that still depends on this specific version and contains a significant amount of legacy code.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I have a page that is ajaxed using Ajax Manager.  There is a RadWindow on the page which uses navigateurl rather than contenttemplate to show a page within the site (so not an external URL)

That page also has AjaxManager on it.  When an ajaxed field within the window is changed the page does a partial postback correctly (and updates whatever it needs to do on itself) however the scroll position of the parent page scrolls to the top.

How do I stop that from happening?

I note that I am using this to scroll back to the window on window load because on opening the window it would scroll to the top as well

I'm using this to open the window in the code behind, after I've done some processing

RadWindow is a great control and it's very usefull.

The issues start when the UI inside gets more complex, and requires javascript to deal with interactions on client side instead of server side.

The RadWindow control is placed inside a parent element but when it opens, all the contents get relocated into the DOM root causing a problem with event listeners, element finding among other headaches.

Testing with your Telerik Web UI Window Content Template Demo | Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX demo, moving the generated window element "RadWindowWrapper_ctl00_ContentPlaceholder1_UserListDialog" inside its original element  "demo-container", kept the demo working perfectly with no side effects.

So, the question is, why are you moving the contents of a RadWindow to the DOM root causing so many problems for those who need to create complex UIs inside the window? Can't you at least let the developer decide that with a parameter? 

Is there any way to avoid this behaviour, maybe using javascript?

HI Team,  RadTabStrip malfunctioning and is showing popups from previous reports

after viewing the report, when navigating to the history tab, the report view reappears, which is inconsistent with the existing functionality. The report view in the history tab shouldn't appear.

Up to here working good, Script Import Mapping functions correctly in both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.However, an Issue occurs: after viewing the report, when navigating to the history tab, the report view reappears, which is inconsistent with the existing functionality. The report view in the history tab does not disappear until the X button is clicked to close the current main field details.
