Currently we are evaluating upload controls provided by Telerik. Is HttpModules(s) mandatory for RadAsyncUpload(using Silverlight client) & RadUpload controls if we want to have progress bar.

    Hello Satheesh,

Yes HttpsModules are mandatory. You can refer to the appropriate help topics for more information- RadAsyncUpload and  RadUpload.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for your response.

We are evaluating upload controls for integration with SharePoint. HttpModules & Anonymous authentication are not allowed. We have evaluated "Silverlight Control for Upload" and also trying to evaluate 'RadUpload & RadAsyncUpload'.  Here are my questions

    * From the links i can understand HTTPModule is mandatory for RadUpload.
    * Can RadAsyncUpload (Silverlight or iFrame client module) work without HttpModule with Progress bar (or) withou Progress bar..

Based on your input we want to have further discussion on purchasing

    Hello Satheesh,

You can use the RadAsyncUpload without the HTTPModule in all browsers. Only in IE  there is a condition- Flash or Silverlight available.

Hope this will clear this issue for you.
