I just need to sync the last decent, tolerable version of Evernote one more time: https://www.reddit.com/r/Evernote/comments/1cico6e/solutions_for_syncing_the_legacy_v6_client/

How can I do this?  I can't find a way to change the user-agent globally for running programs under WINE.  It's supposedly possible under FIDDLER but I'm new. :(  Help?  I searched the documentation and program, but I must not be good at this because I couldn't figure it out.

Hello,

With Fiddler Everywhere, you can easily create a rule in the Rules tab to change the User-Agent header's value with any custom value. In your case, that would be the string value "Evernote Windows".

For example:

The above rule will match all sessions (you can further specify the matching condition), and for each session, the "user-agent" HTTP header will be updated to have the value "Evernote Windows" (as per the linked solution).

Once the rule is created, you need to toggle on the Rules switch, and the switch for the specific rule, and all ongoing HTTPS traffic will be modified.

You can learn more  on how to use the Rules tab from the following articles:
