.NET Support
The Telerik RadControls Support Lifecycle (TRSL) policy standardizes Telerik support policies for RadControl for ASP.NET and WinForms suites. This policy applies to all current and new Telerik customers worldwide and retro actively applies to past releases of the RadControls. The goal of this policy is to make Telerik’s support timelines clear and predictable so that customers can make plans for their own support and product planning based on the knowledge of Telerik’s Support Lifecylce.
RadControls Support
Telerik will offer a minimum of 2 years of Mainstream Support for each version of the RadControls. Once a new version of the .NET framework has been released, Telerik will offer 1 additional year of Mainstream Support for the previous framework version. After that year has elapsed, Telerik will provide 2 additional years of Limited Support for the previous framework version. Extended Support for a previous framework version of RadControls will begin 3 years after a new version has been released.
Support Types
Mainstream Support is the highest level of support for all RadControls. While covered by Mainstream Support, RadControls will receive full product support through all support channels, all new controls added to the RadControls suite, all product feature enhancements, all bug fixes, and free support incidents (with a current subscription). When a product suite enters Limited Support, it will continue to receive all bug fixes and support through all support channels. It will not, however, receive all new product feature enhancements or new controls. Only features and controls that do not depend on newer framework features will be added during Limited Support. Finally, when a product enters the Extended Support phase, it will no longer receive active support. Support for these products will be available on a pay by incident basis and will be available for at least 2 years after a product suite leaves the Limited Support phase.

Current Framework Support
Based on this policy, this is how the current .NET framework versions are supported:
- RadControls for .NET v1.x , introduced Q1 2002
Current Support Phase: Limited (began Q1 2007)
Extended Support Phase Begins: Q1 2009 - RadControls for .NET v2.0 , introduced Q4 2005
Current Support Phase: Mainstream
Limited Support Phase Begins: Q1 2009 (assuming .NET 3.5 ships in Q1 2008) - RadControls for .NET v3.5 , introduced Q1 2008 (predicted)
This policy is effective immediately and applies to all RadControls suites. Telerik reserves the right to amend this policy as required by shifting customer demand and marketplace forces.
