According to a special agreement with Microsoft, since 2004 Telerik has been providing an enhanced HTML editing control initially for Microsoft Content Management Server and later for SharePoint 2003 and MOSS.

The latest version of this control, called Telerik RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX, brings cross-browser / cross-platform content authoring to SharePoint 2007 (MOSS). Featuring a familiar Word-like interface, the award-winning content editor for ASP.NET enables non-technical users to manage HTML content as easily as writing a Microsoft Office Word document. RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX is shipped with a special wrapper for MOSS (available as a separate download) which allows developers to use RadEditor within SharePoint 2007. The wrapper works under IE, Firefox, Netscape and Safari and can be used in both MOSS and WSS v3. RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX provides richer functionality and customization options compared to the free RadEditor Lite which is developed in agreement between Telerik and Microsoft as a free cross browser alternative to the default rich-text editor in SharePoint.

• rich-text filed control in SharePoint forms (in Lists, Wiki, Blogs etc.)
