Telerik is looking for ASP.NET Front-End Developer to join our internal web development team. As a member of the team you will actively participate in the front-end development for both existing and new Telerik websites that serve the needs of the company’s internal and external end-users.
 
As an ASP.NET Front-End Developer, you will be expected to:
• Turn User Interfaces designed in Adobe Photoshop into HTML/CSS templates.
•  Work with the team (UI designers, developers, support people, QA people) on improving and extending Telerik websites in terms of:
• Cross-browser implementation: make sure that the generated HTML and CSS render identically in all major browsers – Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox 3+, Opera 9+, and Webkit based browsers (Webkit versions 5xx)
• Web standards, Accessibility: validate and improve our websites, so that people with custom requirements can use them
 
You will be the person who has:
• A demonstrated record of experience with HTML, XHTML
• Advanced knowledge of CSS and creating cross-browser layouts
• Basic experience with Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks in creating HTML prototypes
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET, JavaScript libraries (jQuery) is a plus
• Good written English skills
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment required
• Exceptional ability to learn new skills
• Down-to-earth, creative, driven and friendly personality
