Manual Test Creation
Users can easily add manual tests next to their automated tests in the project. The simplified Test Explorer allows you to craft your manual test by typing in each test step. You can also copy/paste and reorder your steps by using drag and drop. Supplement your steps by adding screenshot, description or test requirements.
Import Manual Tests
With Test Studio you’re able to easily manage your manual test efforts! No need to maintain your spreadsheets with manual tests anymore. Import all your test suites to Test Studio with a few mouse clicks. Keeping all manual tests within Test Studio will make your testing team members much more productive as they will be able to work on different test cases instead of waiting on a single person to get out of the excel file. This will also improve the overall view on the test coverage of your project. If your team still needs to track tests outside of Test Studio, we also have a handy Export feature enabling you to export your manual tests out to new Excel files.
Manual Test Execution
The built-in manual test runner will help you quickly execute the test you just created/imported. The interface allows the user to pass/fail steps, capture images for failures and navigate the tests in the run consecutively.
Convert Manual to Automated Tests
Manual test execution gets faster with Test Studio's fast forward feature that allows for mundane and repetitive steps to be automated for untold hours saved of execution time. What’s more, you can have an entire manual test converted into fully automated test. All you need to do is run the manual test with test recording turned on.
Bug Capture and Reporting
Manual test run results get rolled up into comprehensive reports that offer consolidated views of your project’s quality trends. If your project is connected to a scheduling server, you can publish manual run results to the server and retrieve the latest results that your team members have already run.
