The Telerik DataForm for iOS displays a data object’s properties in a list form helping developers to quickly and easily build various forms such as: registration, data entry, login, etc. The items in the form can be read-only or editable by the end-users.
The DataForm detects the types of the data object’s properties and automatically displays the appropriate editors. In case you want to display a custom editor - no problem, the rich API of the DataForm provides this flexibility.
You have control over the data collected through the DataForm thanks to the built-in validation. Furthermore the control gives suggestions in case non valid data is entered by the user.
You can group the business object properties to make information easily digestible for the users. This feature is very useful in cases where an object has many properties.
There are three editing modes supported by the Telerik DataForm:
Property name labels not always fit in the mobile devices screen size which may confuse the user. The DataForm control allows you to set hint text (also known as null text) to give the end-user a hint what should be done.
The Telerik DataForm for iOS supports read-only mode for cases in which the end-user should only see the values of the properties, rather than edit them.
