Yesterday the 14th major release of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX went out the door (lucky number, ahh ;)) This new version comes with lots, really lots of new features and the ideas for most of them we got from you, our customers (thank you!).

If we have to talk in numbers, we shipped 2 new controls (the highly-requested Gauge and AutoCompleteBox), one new control in Beta version (PivotGrid, yeey), 85 new features and improvements, 75 bug fixes and 2 breaking changes (one for the ComboBox, and one for the HTML5 Chart – both based on your feedback).

Our past 4 months were centered around several major themes.

  1. We worked a lot on making sure that all our controls look and behave flawlessly in VS12, .NET 4.5 and IE10 support. By the way, we also reworked our VS Design-time wizards to be VS12 UX compliant and additionally improved a thing or two, so we hope they will be of even more help to you now.
  2. Mobile! We just can’t afford to spend a quarter without working on improving the experience of your users on touch-enabled devices. You will love the more responsive touch scrolling behavior of all RadControls, as well as the greatly improved drag and drop support for our TreeList, TabStrip, TreeView, ListBox, OrgChart, Slider, ColorPicker, Window and Dock.
  3. We validated all RadControls against the MSOCAF tool and we can claim they all fully support SharePoint 2010.
  4. Having greatly improved our data visualization and management tools over the past couple of Qs, we built a sample app to showcase how easy it is to integrate them in data-rich applications. Our Olympic Games sample app is coming soon, so stay tuned.

If you’d like to read more about our newest stuff, read the highlights on our What’s New page or check out the detailed Release Notes. If you just want to get your hands on the new things right away, download a trial or get the latest licensed version from your accounts.

Hope you will love what you see! And as always, looking forward to hearing from you. Please do tell us what you think about the Q3 2012 release and what you expect to hear in the future.

PS: Check out our online demos. ;) We have a surprise for you there. We worked hard to make them more user- and mobile-friendly.

PPS: Did you sign up for Webinar Week yet? Our evangelists are eager to walk you through the new features and show you how to make the most of them. Don't forget, one lucky winner from each Dev Tools webinar will win a Telerik DevCraft Ultimate license (worth $1,999)! Hope to see you there.

PPPS: Just kidding, I think I said it all already. ;)
