With Q3 we continue to deliver new components and features to help you cut production time and budget and build rich native apps. Highly requested Map and Radial Menu controls are joining the suite along with updates and performance improvements in the Grid, Chart, Data Storage and many more.
We will actively follow the feedback in our public portal and accordingly plan the next versions.
The Map control will help you visualize rich geo or non-geo spatial data from various sources either in a stand-alone form, or in the context of geo-imagery provided by an external supplier (service) like Bing Maps, OpenStreetMap, ArcGis, etc. Furthermore, RadMap can visualize non-geographic spatial data, like hotel floor plans, movie theater plans, aircraft’s seats plan, etc. The first version of RadMap will focus on providing support for ESRI ShapeFiles.
RadialMenus are an innovative and space-saving toolbars providing the end-user with variety of options to choose from. RadialMaenus are especially useful on touch devices as they enable the developers to place many commands and options in a flexible and dynamic UI container. In an image-editing app RadialMenu can be used to contain all the available commands and effects that can be applied over an image.
Value-range selection at your fingertips. The RangeSlider is suitable when your users need to filter goods falling into a certain price range, or to limit the number of available options (items). RangeSlider provides a simple UI and advanced features for achieving these scenarios.
Re-imagined and optimized for touch RadColorPicker will provide an innovative UI for making and fine-tuning color-selections. It will work seamlessly with the mouse as well.
