Support FAQ
General Questions
Where can I register to get notified of new versions, when they come available?
You can subscribe to the RSS feed ( http://www.telerik.com/support.rss) which will ensure that you are always notified about new releases and updates. Telerik does not send out mail updates on minor product releases, primarily due to the large number of controls offered, and the frequent updates and hotfixes we provide. However, newsletters with available new major releases are released regularly.
Do you have a support RSS feed?
Yes, we do, but for new product releases only. It can be found at http://www.telerik.com/support.rss. Subscribing to the RSS feed will ensure that you are always notified about new releases and updates.

Installation and version upgrading questions
I downloaded the installer from your site but it would not install. Why?
Below are outlined the most possible causes for the installer to fail:
- Incomplete download.
- The installer package requires .NET framework versions 2.x or 3.x to be installed. If you do not have the .NET framework, the installer will show an error message saying so.
- The installer package requires Internet Information Services (IIS) to be installed. If you do not have the .NET framework, the installer will show an error message saying so.
If the above suggestions do not work, please, log in your Client.net account and download the ZIP package of the control(s). You can find instructions on how to how to install the ZIP package in the following KB article.

Trial versions
How do I obtain a trial version?
We offer fully functional trials which work without license keys and can be conveniently deployed on any development, test or production machine. The only difference between the trial and the developer build is that with the evaluation copy you will get a trial message on top of the control once in a while. Upon replacing the trial dll with the developer dll the trial message will disappear.
To download a trial, please log into your Client.NET account, go to My licenses -> My Free Trials and chose the respective product (usually RadControls suite).
I purchased a developer license. Why do I get a trial license message?
If you get a trial license message (copyright message) then you are still using the trial version or your project was not updated properly. To update your application to use the Developer version, follow the instructions in this online Knowledge Base article: Updating Telerik's controls to another version or license (ID# 503)
