Overview

In need of different navigation systems such as left/right side menus and Outlook style panels – RadPanelBar for Silverlight is your solution. The templating mechanism of the control provides the ability to enhance the control’s behavior so that it can successfully represent a complicated site navigation system. You can also bind RadPanelBar to hierarchical structures to display them for the purposes of your navigation system.

• Hierarchical Binding

  You can bind Telerik Silverlight PanelBar to hierarchical structures to display them for the purposes of your navigation system. You can bind the control to Objects, XML and you can use WCF services to populate the items.

• Keyboard Support

  Use the keys to navigate, expand, collapse or select items in the Silverlight PanelBar control by Telerik. Additionally, all corresponding events will be fired when using the keys to manage the panel items.

• Different Expand Modes

  The ExpandMode can be either single or multiple, reflecting the allowed number of expanded items. When in single ExpandMode, all the panel items will collapse except the item that has just been expanded.

• Styling and Appearance

  Telerik Silverlight PanelBar can be fully customized using Expression Blend. There are also several pre-defined themes that can be used to style the panelbar control. Furthermore, Telerik unique style building mechanism allows you to change the skin’s color scheme with just a few clicks.

  To help your code become even more elegant and concise, we implemented Enhanced Routed Events Framework for RadControls for Silverlight.  This gives you more freedom when you design your applications since you can write instance handlers as well as class handlers for the routed events of our controls.

Telerik WebUI Test Studio is an advanced click and play web application testing tool specialized for automating both AJAX and Silverlight applications.
