Hello Team,
I am using 2013.2.724.1050 telerik version.
I want to show current month when click on calendar button when selected date is different.
e.g. SelectedDate = 21/01/2018 when I click on calendar I want to show current month(March 2019), so user do not have to go from January 2018 to March 2019 and can directly select any date from current month (March 2019).
Also can you please let me know what events are bind with Previous and Next month button and how can I use it if on single click I want to move 2 months ahead.
Thanks.
Hello,
I want to have a RadDatePicker without showing year on it, only day and month, I've tried many solutions and the last one was to make a setter on the calendar of my DatePicker, to make a property on "MonthViewHeaderFormat" but this doesn't work.
Can you please help or tell me if it is possible or not to get only the day and the month on a RadDatePicker?
Thanks
I seem unable to get this property to do what it suggests, prevent the user from selecting dates outside the range I specify with SelectableDateStart and SelectableDateEnd.
Am I missing something obvious?
I browsed thru some example projects here online but they all implement their own restriction code which seems very odd to me as that defeats the intent and purpose of the properties? If the SelectableDateStart and SelectableDateEnd isn't actually being "enforced" what's the point of having these properties?
I believe the purpose of purchasing telerik controls is to avoid having to code this myself (that's why most developers purchase 3rd party products so we don't have to re-invent the wheel everytime), otherwise why purchase Telerik?
Confused.
Rob.
Here's a simple example of a problem we have throughout a rather large app:
We've got a view with a RadRibbonButton for 'Save' and a RadDatePicker. When the user clicks Save, the view remains open after saving. The problem we have is that users are clicking on Save while in the process of editing the date in the TextBox of the RadDatePicker. The result of this is that the 'old' date value is the one that's actually saved in the button click event, THEN the DatePicker updates to show the 'new' date value. (In our real app, this gets very confusing with various validation, etc.)
So, we want to make sure that what is saved matches what is displayed after the save. Do you have any suggestions for how to either 1) Force the RadDatePicker to process all input before saving in the ButtonClick, or 2) Prevent / abort any pending inputs to the DatePicker in ButtonClick.
(We'd prefer to find a solution we can package in our custom class derived from DatePicker, which is used in many places throughout the app, if possible.)
Thanks,
Dave
