MVP Program Requirements
The Telerik MVP program is based on Telerik MVP tokens which provide a clear picture of what one needs to do in order to become a Telerik MVP or to sustain the MVP status. Every community involvement (blog, forum post, advocacy, etc) is associated with a preset amount of Telerik MVP Tokens. A Telerik MVP needs to collect 100 tokens every 6 months to sustain the MVP status.
Note: Telerik MVPs are not eligible to receive Telerik Points.

Speaking engagement
The speaking engagements should be on Telerik matter and can be at a local DNUG/class, at a conference, online webinar, 20+ minute support/product video. Telerik will take part of the marketing efforts and promotion. Presentation slides and demos can be provided upon request. | 15-20 |
Beta testing new Telerik products | 10-30 |
Publications on Telerik-related material
These can be blogs, online/paper magazine articles, mentions in books, new help topics which are included in the Telerik help. | 5-15
(avg. 10) |
Code Library projects on Telerik-related material
This is good when the MVP has no personal or Telerik blog. | 5-15
(avg. 10) |
Telerik-supporting posts in non-Telerik community and social sites
Such as windowsclient.net, asp.net, twitter.com, stackoverflow, etc. Telerik will provide MVPs with a list of sites to watch out for. | 1-10
(avg. 5) |
Resolved questions in the Telerik Forums
These should be marked as answer by the community, which means that MVPs will need to push people to mark the posts as answers. | 1-5
(avg. 2) |
All MVP standings are evaluated twice per year. We understand that you have day jobs so it is not possible to be always actively involved in the Telerik community 100% of the time. However, it is our belief that 6 months is a sufficient time frame to show whether you have the drive and commitment towards being a Telerik MVP.
If you have supported Telerik outside Telerik's forums in the past, and decide to apply for the Telerik MVP award, please provide information about your activities in the Profile section of the application form.
