RadControls for Silverlight and WPF

Beta Posted in Silverlight

Even though they are two absolutely separate suites, RadControls for Silverlight and RadControls for WPF are also almost two mirror suites for web and desktop development, sharing a common codebase and identical components and functionalities for easier code and skill reuse. In the spotlight of this Beta release for the two suites are a brand new, super advanced RadScheduleView components for Silverlight just like the one in WPF, RichTextBox for WPF and DataForm for Silverlight and WPF.

ScheduleView for Silverlight

The ScheduleView empowers end users with unprecedented control over precision and flexibility when handling their appointments. This is achieved through features such as multi-level grouping, powerful zoom for smart navigation through a large number of appointments and blazing fast scrolling. See demo

RichTextBox for WPF

This control is in direct response to numerous client requests. Just like its counterpart for Silverlight the new RadRichTextBox for WPF offers broad editing and formatting capabilities with unmatched performance and true Word-like experience.

DataForm for Silverlight and WPF

RadDataForm control provides UI for displaying and editing properties of an object in a form layout. It includes collection navigation capabilities, editing and respects key DataAnnotation attributes. See demo

ExpressionEditor for Silverlight and WPF

The new RadExpressionEditor provides end users the ability to write and edit complex formula expressions as a free form text. The new control gives the developers access to the structured data (in the form of a LINQ expression) about the entered expression. The primary use case for this component is integration within RadGridView and its LINQ based data engine, which allows unlimited runtime data shaping customizations. See demo

SpellChecker for Silverlight

RadSpellChecker can check the spelling of various input controls. It can be even adapted to work with your custom controls and use custom dictionaries. You can integrate it to work over the RadGridView cells. See demo

MaskedInput for Silverlight and WPF

RadMaskedInput controls are designed for masking (controlling correct input) and formatting (displaying) culture specific values like numbers, currency, dates and text. The controls support data validation and provide great control over the input behavior, navigation, masked text (when in edit mode), display text (when not in edit mode). See demo

You can download the installation files, marked with Q1 2011 Beta from your accounts.
