  Hi.
  
  I have a datasource as a resource in my XMAL file. I want to show a combobox in the child treeviewitems that binds to this data however ItemSource cannot find the staticresource of my datasource? Basically I have multiple child items that need to reference the data in order to pull through a description to use as the node text. Hop this makes sense?

  I am not sure If I understood your scenario correctly so I prepared a sample project based on your description. Can you please have a look at it and let me know if it's close to what you had in mind and if it helps. Also, if I've missed something, it would be great if you can modify the project to better demonstrate your case so that we can further investigate it.
