    Hi,
Is there a way to hide the toolbar grip on Left hand side and hide the Overflow button until the overflow is needed.

Like on windows forms toolbar where you can set ShowGrip properties.

    Thanks

    Hi Paul,

This is only supported if you edit the control template at the moment. We are working on providing such properties for our Q3 release.

I have the same problem. The Q3 was released, does it have such properties?

    Hello Hoang,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Currently the grip and the drop-down button elements are not collapsible. However we will consider your post as a vote and we will increase the priority of this feature request. Meantime you can work around the issue via editing the toolbar's template.

    Kind regards,
    Ivan

If you are taking votes, then please add one more. Would be nice to be able to just set ShowGrip="False" for example, same with the overflow.

    Hello,

It is marked as resolved in the PITS but I didn't find how to hide the grips with the latest internal builds...

    Cordially,
    Stephane.

    Hello Kakone,

It is resolved internally, but still not available for download. There is now GripVisibility property which you will be able to use with the q2 release that is coming very soon - mid.July.

The 'GripVisibility' is there and seems to work great (thanks!).  However, I'm not seeing anything to hide the overflow dropdown.  Did this make it in the release?

    Thanks,
    Terry

    Hi Terry Foster,

The OverflowButtonVisibility property could not make it for the release. It will be part from the next service pack which is sheduled for the first half of August.

For those of us stuck on Silverlight v3 is there a way to access the property? I've downloaded the latest v3 build but I don't see where I can get to that property. Thanks!

    Hello Neil,

The property should be included with the next internal build, but I advise you to switch to Silverlight 4, because we will not support Silverlight 3 after the next Q.

    Hello Victor,

Is there any way to turn OverflowButtonVisibility automatic (until the button is needed)?
    I'm currently using the latest version (Q3 2010 SP1).

    Best Regards,
    Rogério Ferreira

    Hi Paul,

I created a feature request ToolBar: Add "Auto" Visibility of the OverFlow Button that will soon be available for voting in our PITS. Feel free to ask if you need further assistance.
