  When changing selection from an item to another, if the item is on the left it will only expand on double click however if the item on the right it expands on single click.
  Note
  selected item changes on either selecting another panel item or a cover flow item (in code behind).

  We are not aware of similar issues with the RadPanelBar control. Can you elaborate a bit more on your scenario, the definition of the RadPanelBar and its content. Also, you mention that you're using a coverflow control so can you tell us if it is integrated with the RadPanelBar in some way?
