Metro UI for RadControls for Silverlight and WPF

Windows 8 will bring exciting times to all application developers, especially those who will invest in creating the immersive applications we all saw in that video. We loved the tiles and the clean modern look and how they integrate perfectly within the UI. And I am guessing a lot of software will transition to new ways.

As always Telerik will ease this process by providing its Silverlight and WPF offering with Metro UI Theme and kick start your Windows 8 development. The theme is built from the ground-up to accommodate all the best practices in Metro UI applications.

The theme also utilizes a brand new approach for theming – palettes. You might have already seen the Executive Dashboard demo which uses the same approach and served as a proof of concept for the theme. It will allow both easy changing the accented colors as well as overall easy, real-time customization.

All this goody goodness will be coming with Telerik’s Q2 release. Stay tuned for even more announcements during the release week as there will be a few surprises.
