Integrating RadChart for Silverlight in existing ASP.NET applications

There’s an emerging trend to integrate cool new silverlight controls into existing production asp.net solutions. And why wouldn’t it be there? There are many  asp.net applications in production out there that have been working quite well and don’t need to be replaced by a completely new technology. Wouldn’t it be nice, however, to spice them up a little with some rich silverlight visualization tools? This is exactly what a lot of our customers have been asking for lately. Well, here you can see some resources we published that will help anyone who wants to plug in RadChart for Silverlight in an asp.net page.

There is a nice technical blog post by my colleague Manol Donev covering a lot of implementation details. I would strongly recommend reading that before starting work on your project.

Another great resource is the video of Todd Anglin’s webinar on integrating Silverlight controls in ASP.NET. There’s also a blog article where he posted the source code to the webinar demos right here.

For those of you who want to look at some sample code we have prepared an integration example in our quickstart framework. The code there is ideal for a starting point of your projects.
