Telerik UI for Xamarin
Taking all the feedback from the community in account, with the R3 2018 Release of Telerik UI for Xamarin, we are presenting you with the new and improved AutoComplete Control named AutoCompleteView. By leveraging all the benefits from Xamarin.Forms 3.0, the control is way more intuitive and feature rich, including new Styling options, Token support, Events and Remote Search.
With the latest release of the suite, we are bringing the new Expander control, which comes extremely useful when presenting a lot of content on the already limited mobile devices screen. The Expander presents content in a expandable container, which can be expanded or collapsed to show or hide the information underneath an item.
Another crucial component in the mobile world is coming to Telerik UI for Xamarin - The Accordion. The Accordion provides a set of collapsible content panels, which can be visible or hidden based on the user's interaction with the heading thus either showing or hiding the content nested underneath. This can come quite handy in scenarios, where you need to present a lot of information on a single screen, making it easier for the user to choose the piece of data they are interested in.
The new Weekend Visibility functionality to MultiDayView in the Calendar control expands on the it's current features by providing an easy way for the end user to include or exclude weekends from the calendar timeline, thus keeping only the weekdays visible.
In today’s mobile world, almost all mobile applications require a login, authentication or a send feedback screen, which can be pretty standardized for the most part, but still require you to spend time to create yourself. With that in mind, we are glad to introduce these three new built-in screen templates for you to use in your applications. The login and authentication screens, besides featuring the usually user and password, they also feature login with social network, pin, or fingerprint.
As of R3 2018 Release, we are adding few new series to the Chart control - the Financial and Donut Chart Series, further expanding on the number of charting used cases. With the new OHLC and Candlestick Financial series you will be able to visualize the state of the market for a period of time, whereas the new Donut Chart is a simple pie chart, which can show more than a one set of data.
With the Load on Demand functionality in the TreeView control, you will be able to save valuable computing resources and optimize your mobile application’s performance, by only displaying and loading user requested data to the TreeView
Have full control over the borders that wrap around the elements in your Xamarin mobile app and easily customize the application’s UI with the new Border Control in Telerik UI for Xamarin. The built-in functionalities of the Border control provide you with the ability to set the border color and thickness and adjust the border’s corners for a completely personalized look and feel.
Easily add checkboxes to your Xamarin based mobile apps with the Checkbox control in Telerik UI for Xamarin, with support for various styling and color customizations and theming support.
With the R3’18 Release of Telerik UI for Xamarin we are adding support for Nested Properties to the DataGrid component in both suites, enabling you to bind to sub-objects in the grid columns.
