Overview
For when you expect from the user to type in a medium size text, too long for a TextBox and not too complicated for something like a full-blown text editor, the Telerik UI for PHP Text Area component is the tool to use. For everything in between item descriptions, user comments, addresses, etc. Developers can customize everything on the control like its look and behavior, data binding, maximum length and the number of rows.

Labels
Labels can be added to the TextArea, similarly to the other input components. The can be attached before the input or as a floating label.

Right-To-Left Support
The Text Area is one of the many components in the Telerik UI for PHP suite with out-of-the-box support for RTL text.
