What's next in Kendo UI Builder

Short-Term Goals (May 2018—September 2018)

In the upcoming months, we will be working on extensive improvements around how we connect to Data within Kendo UI Builder.

This will include:

  • Integration
  • Default Data with an OData Provider
  • Parameterized Views and Data Sources

Parameterized Views and Data Sources aims to provide a way to navigate from View A to View B while passing parameters to View B. These parameters can be used by the underlying data source of the view in order to create parameterized URLs when querying your back end.

Along with this we're also looking to improve the accessibility of the generated views and the user experience when switching from view to code.

Beyond this we are also leaving room for addressing feedback and popular feature requests coming from our clients.
