Overview
The Telerik UI for JSP Text Area component is an input element that covers the gap between a boring text field and a full-pledged text editor. It is tailored to text of moderate length. It provides wider and multi-line text editing capabilities for things such as descriptions, comments or address details. There are options to control everything on the control like its look and behavior, data binding, maximum length, the number of rows and cols.

Labels
The control can have a label describing it, similar to a standard HTML input element. The label can be positioned in before the input or as floating label.

Like most of the Telerik UI for JSP Components, the Text Area comes with out-of-the box RTL support.
