Hello,
We are using the Numpad version of your RadVirtualKeyboardForm and did some modifications on the layout which worked absolutely fine so far. The only thing we would still like to do is to make each key bigger because we use it on a touch screen and the standard key size appears to be too small for certain of our users.
We are using an XML file in order to load the keyboard layout and I tried to change the KeyWidth and KeyHeight in the XML file which works fine. But the layout becomes messy as the window of the keyboard only seems to grow horizontally but not vertically as seen in the screenshot. Is there a possibility to indicate the window's size somewhere?
Thank you in advance and have a nice day!
Hi,
How do I hide or disable WIN and ALT keys on a radVirtualKeyboard?
I'm using the Simplified keybordlayout.

Hello,
I'm facing a little problem concerning the radVirtualKeyboard control. I'm located in France and I would like the virtual keyboard to have the AZERTY-laoyout. No matter If I use the property SynchronizeCultureWithSystem or if I set the culture info manually, the keyboard only adapts some of the keys but the general layout remains QWERTY.
I'm using the code
radVirtualKeyboard1.SynchronizeCultureWithSystem = false;
radVirtualKeyboard1.VirtualKeyboardElement.CurrentCulture = new System.Globalization.CultureInfo("fr-FR", false);
This is the result:
The code
radVirtualKeyboard1.SynchronizeCultureWithSystem = false;
radVirtualKeyboard1.VirtualKeyboardElement.CurrentCulture = new System.Globalization.CultureInfo("de-DE", false);
leads to this result which is not correct as well because the german keyboard layout is QWERTZ
Is there maybe another property to set to apply the culture info to the entire keyboard?
Thank you in advance and have a nice day!
Jana
Hello,
I would like to use the virtualKeyboardForm in a WinForms application on a tablet. I would like to know if it's possible to fire event when pressing specific keys.
For example: if I click on the cross in the top right corner of the virtualKeyboardForm, I want that the associated textbox is not focused anymore. Or that if I click on Enter, the keyboardform will close automatically and the associated textbox loses its focus.
Is there a possibility to achieve this?
Thank you in advance and have a nice day!
Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to access/change the same properties for the radVirtualKeyboardForm as it is possible for the radVirtualKeyboard. I'm creating an application for a touch screen and I would like to remove some buttons from the keyboard which are not related to the input the user has to enter.
If it is not possible: Is there a possibility to assign also a radVirtualKeyboard to a control? I mean, that the keyboard only appears, if the cursor focus is on the corresponding input field.
Thank you in advance and have a wonderful day!
Hello,
is there a way to hide or replace the telerik logo on VirtualKeyboardForm?
Also how to hide the Home and Arrow Buttons to get a real simplified Layout ?
Thanks in advance.
First of all I really like the new VirtualKeyboard and it is doing a good job so far.
Nethertheless I've found an issue that the keyboard is not opening below the associated control the first time it is shown.
After closing and reopening the keyboard it is on the correct position. This behaviour only occurs on the right half of the screen.
Is this a bug or am I doing anything wrong?
Attached you can find a sample project.
