Does JustDecompile support .Net Core 2.0?

I'm trying to load a .net core 2.0 assemby, and justDecompile is asking for assembly references version that doesn't exists.

In my case i just create a new console application, installed the System.Threading.Tasks version 4.3.0.0, and justDecompile is asking for version 4.1.0.0.

Is that a known bug? or is just a limitation?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Which version of JustDecompile are you currently using? Does upgrading to the latest version make any difference? Also, are you sure your app doesn't actually refer version 4.1.0.0?

    I've updated to version 18.1.123.0.

Now is asking for System.Runtime 4.2.0.0 and i can´t edit any method implementation using the Reflexil.

    Hello,

JustDecompile is asking for System.Runtime 4.2.0.0 because every .Net Core v2.0 application refers it. System.Runtime itself refers System.Private.CoreLib, which contains all of the common types, including the ones that you used.

To resolve this either locate the System.Runtime 4.2.0.0 manually or install .Net Core for your operating system from Microsoft.

    Hi Dimitar,

I´ve reinstalled the .Net Core 2.0 SDK and still asking for System.Runtime 4.2.0.0.

Also i didn't find where to download that specific version.

Do you know where can i find it? Or maybe could you provide the url to download it?

    Thanks.

    Hello Marcos,

Can you please say what operating system are you using?

Also, usually System.Runtime 4.2.0.0 resides in C:Program Files/dotnet/shared or C:Program Files(x86)/dotnet/shared depending on your operating system.
The runtime versions that are in "shared" folder are not always the same as the SDK version, please refer to this table Here.

    I'm using Windows10 x64.

Now i could find the required assembly.

Just one more question, when i try to replace with a new code in the compiler profile combobox, there isn't an option for .Net Core.

    Only for .Net 2.0/3.5/4.0/Unity Silverlight/Silverlight 5.

Is that a limitation for .Net Core 2.0?

    Hello,

Assembly editing should be addressed to Reflexil itself since it is a plugin that we do not develop. You can find Reflexil here.
