I am testing your reporting tool and it is very nice. But we need a justify property in the text box control, and we see that you still don't support it. Will it be sopported shortly?

Hello Alberto,
Implementing "Justify" is not trivial because of the different nature of all the export formats we support. Anyway if we get enough interest from customers we would consider including it in our to-do list.

+9999 for Justify support! The product should come with a warning label that it doesn't do Justify. We'll probably have to replace the control for DevExpress or some other provider. Too bad we already bought it.

- Text justification is used mostly in text formatting applications, such as MS Word and RadEditor. Telerik Reporting is a reporting tool, which is geared towards data manipulation, but not towards text formatting. From this point of view, adding text justification is not a high priority for the product, but a nice-to-have;
- As Steve pointed out, "Implementing "Justify" is not trivial because of the different nature of all the export formats we support." This argument still stands. For now we would prefer to spend our development time on must-have features, such as an end-user report designer.

I agree it is not a trivial thing to implement and it may seem like a "nice-to-have" feature but trust me it is more than that for some of us that are coding these reports for clients, its what clients and the public at large expect to see in a report. It is in a lot of word processors, I agree, people see it there and expect us developers to be able to put that into the reports exactly the way they have it there. Telerik Reports in my opinion have made things a lot easier in terms of making reports and coding them. They still have a ways to go. Justifying text would make a lot of your clients and their clients very very happy.

hi,
i'am a newbee, and i dont understand why you cant implement functionnality Justify Align.
Cause in other app like devExpress, they implement it.
But i prefere your app, cause we can make other than devexpress can not.

Just to let people know there is a way to justify text by using the HTML Textbox instead of the normal textbox. It's not pretty but it is an alternative until justify gets added to the regular textbox. I have used it. You need a basic understanding of html but it does work.

HtmlTextbox justify work only with html presentation in a web page.
If you need to export report to pdf, text are left aligned.

The pdf format and the doc format are more important than html, for our customer contract.
