There have been numerous post about this issue and not a single one has a solution.  The msi will not detect an active internet connection when trying to install the product behind a corporate proxy/firewall.

Looks like we wil have to keep using Reflector!

Hello James,

I am sorry for the trouble that you have encountered.

I guess you tried providing proxy settings in the popup dialog but it didn't help?

You can download and use our offline msi installation package - http://www.telerik.com/offline-trial-download.aspx.

Please let me know if you have any further inquires.

The offline trial link provides a 404 response.  Is there another link to the MSI?

Thanks,

Hello,

After downloading the web installer a "Thank you" page comes up. On that page there are links to the .msi and .zip JustDecompile distribution.

I beg your pardon about the inconvenience. We are working on fixing this annoying issue.

I keep getting in a loop of the installer saying 'installer appears a bit old' and then I click on the link provided redownload (seems to be same name) and then the 'old' message.

I used the offline installer referenced above and it worked fine.

The offline trial download link is now getting redirected to
    http://www.telerik.com/download

which appears to be the site for Web based installers, as I keep getting the Proxy dialog message. I cannot enter the proxy details as our network is locked down so that I can't find out the details.

Is there anywhere that I can download JustDecompile as a full MSI that does not try to connect to the internet at all...

Hi William,

After the latest revamp of the telerik website, unfortunately the offline trial download link doesn't work for us anymore. We're working on fixing the issue. Meanwhile please use this link - it's permanent link for the latest (as of today) available version of JustDecompile (unfortunately it's not dynamic link): http://www.telerik.com/downloads/productfiles/bgctm/JustDecompile_2014.1.117.0.msi

Please let us know if you still have troubles downloading and using JustDecompile.

Vladi

Hi Telerik Admins,

as of now (12.03.2014) none of the posted links do work for me - I'm unable to find the offline MSI package of JD.
I even registered an Telerik account in the hope I'll get somehow Access to this so called "free" tool which seems to be free only for the Folks who do not use Proxy in their Internet connection...

Anyway, I'll be very thankful if I can get the full installed package of this otherwise great tool - JustDecompile.
Manny thanks in advance.

Kind regards,
Radoslav.

Hi again and sorry for spaming the forum...

I'm no logged in into my account and have looked at the page: http://www.telerik.com/products/decompiler/faq.aspx.
There is a link to the offline MSI and ZIP packages of JD: http://www.telerik.com/account/your-products/product-versions.aspx?pmvid=3505&pid=845
Clicking on it gives me the error message: "Sorry. You are not a licensed user for this product and cannot access this page."

In hope this will help to solve the issue with the offline packages for JD,
Kind regards.

Radoslav.

Hello Radoslav,

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm sorry for the caused inconvenience. Unfortunately this is a known issue for us - the MSI offline installer links have to be more obvious and the old ones should work. We're working on improving this and the task is in progress. Meanwhile the quickest way to get an offline installer is:

- either ask for it in our forum and we'll send you a direct link. Unfortunately this link won't work for every JD version. This should be resolved soon. Here is the direct link for the current version: http://www.telerik.com/downloads/productfiles/bgkht/JustDecompile_2014.1.225.0.msi

- or download the EXE web installer, initiate an installation in order to agree with the EULA, and then you can abort the installation. Then all you have to do is to go the Your Account section of the telerik.com website, open the Free products section from the Products menu and download the Automatic Installer (offline MSI). Here is a quick link to this place (I believe it will work for you now even without downloading and starting the EXE web installer): http://www.telerik.com/account/your-products/product-versions.aspx?pmvid=3656&pid=845

Please let me know if neither of these solutions work for you.

Kind regards,
Vladi

Hello Craig,

Apologies for the delay but have you tried one of the two ways from my previous answer to download the offline installer? Do they both fail for you?

Kind regards,
Vladi

Hi Telerik Team,

finally, after almost an year the posted links do work...! Great! :) Using my Telerik account I'm now able to download the offline Version of the JD tool.

From my perspective this issue has been (finally!) resolved.

Many thanks and kind regards,

Jeg just been through this entire post, trying all the links and I'm at the latest post now...

...and  this link doesn't work either...takes me to a 404 page.

http://www.telerik.com/downloads/productfiles/bmdch/JustDecompile_2015.1.217.0.msi

Seriously Telerik....you guys can build these super dev tools...and cannot manage to have a working link for a single MSI file... please reboot or something :)
