How can all the filtered types and values from a grid view? In the grid view, we want to provide the flexibility to filter the result by more than one column. We are using custom data source to load the grid. The below URL helps to identify the last selected filter type and value (for example col.5).

http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/grdoperatewithfilterexpression.html

But I’m interested to know ALL the previously selected (for example Col 1, Col 2, and Col 3) filter type and value

I’ve contacted the support and they have not given me the direct (appropriate) answer. Could any one help me?

Hello Rajesh,

The ItemCommand will be raised each time you filter a column, giving you a chance to intercept the value. Additionally, you can use the RadGrid1.MasterTableView.FilterExpression, to get the complete filter expression for the control, which comprises of the values for all the columns.

Best wishes,

when is the value RadGrid1.MasterTableView.FilterExpression available ?
I use the grid in a CompositeControl.
In the OnLoad event the FilterExpression is empty

Hi Martin,

Since I am not well aware of your implementation, it will be best if you open a formal support ticket, and send us a small working project, for additional review. We will trace it locally, and get back to you with additional information!
