Hello Oliver,
The behavior from the screenshot is usually observed when some of the resource files are not from the latest release. Please make sure that all Kendo JavaScript and CSS files are from the latest release. The version should correspond to the one for the Kendo.Mvc.dll assembly.
After this clean and rebuild the project and refresh the page with Ctrl+F5 to ensure that all files are requested again from the server.

Hello Viktor,
yes Kendo.Mvc.dll was still the old 2017.3.1026 in my project JS and CSS are 2018.1.117, changed it ... works great :)
