[Solved] Datagrid Adding default filter to filter template

I am using date range filter from this example

http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/programming/filtertemplate/defaultcs.aspx it has 2  datepickers for From and To.

I want to add also regular filter or date picker fo this column too.Otherwise, how do i filter just the date not date range?

Hi greytroll,

If I properly understood, you want to have one column which is to be filtered either by one date or for date range. In this case, you can use a regular GridDataTimeClumn with the default filter and enable the header filter menu to provide a functionality for additional filtering.
Another option is to add two RadDatePickers in the FilterTemplate and when they are both filled, apply the date range filter. Otherwise, filter by the date filled in one of them.
