Intuitively to me, I always hit "ENTER" once I finish changing a template placeholder to move onto the next one...I'd love it if I can just hit enter, then $1$ moves to $2$, enter again, moves to $3$, and then if there's no $4$, then enter again just completes it.

I'm finding I hit enter once, it completes, then I have to go delete it and do it again

Hello,

 Thanks for contacting us.
So far you could move to the next placeholder only with TAB and we use Enter to commit the applied changes.
Probably there is many variations of key combinations that this can be done but I think this one is pretty simple too.
Maybe we could improve it a little bit in the future, but I do not think this is very prioritized thing.
What do you think? Could you get used to it?
Thanks and have a nice day.

All the best,
