Posted this in the wrong section initially...

I was wondering if there were any plans to introduce a sort of collaborative real-time editor, similiar to how Google allows users to edit documents at the same time, and visually see the edits as they take place.

Hello,

Thank you for your feature request.

The requested real-time collaboration functionality is far beyond the functionality supported not only by the track changes mechanism of RadEditor, but also is out of scope of work of a standard UI component.
This is a complex task which involves the implementation of a whole framework/application and solid development work and many dev days.

To do this we will need clear indication that the market requires it, because right now it is already offered by Google and SharePoint. So far our clients are satisfied by the functionality provided by RadEditor and we do not have any current plans to implement a separate solution.

My recommendation is to post your request in our Feedback portal. If it becomes popular, this will help us to prioritize your request.

I do appreciate your time and feedback and I've updated your Telerik points.

Kind regards,
Rumen

Curious if any further thoughts on this. Or if there were any 3rd parties that have built this around the Telerik editor?

Hi Amit,

The required functionality is not offered by RadEditor and is still not requested in the Feedback portal.

I encourage you to take advantage of our professional Feature Customization Services in order to discuss the viability of its implementation.

Rumen
