Hi ,
At the moment you cannot build apps for Windows 8 through AppBuilder. We have such a feature request logged in our feedback portal where you can cast your vote.
I cannot bind to any specific time frames for its implementation and I would therefore recommend following the item in the feedback portal to keep track of its state.
