New TeamPulse xView™ provides the ability to track progress & health across multiple projects
WALTHAM, MA, FEBRUARY 15, 2012 – Telerik,an end-to-end provider of software application lifecycle and content management solutions, today announced the immediate availability of a new extension for its project management and collaboration solution TeamPulse, called TeamPulse xView™. The new tool provides single window visibility across a number of projects at the same time.
The new tool provides managers of multiple software projects a single view where they can identify problematic areas with a single glance. The tool alerts users about potential problems including late work, blocking bugs, excessive workload, allowing them to address those issues as early as possible and keep projects on track.
TeamPulse xView™ offers the following three views:
Project Status View
The "Project Status View" provides users with a real-time project heat map giving them a complete view into the progress and health of all their projects. From this single screen a user can derive information related to bugs and progress blocking issues, the overall progress of the release or iteration, as well as expected project end date.
The "People View" functions similar to the "Project Status View" highlighting the progress of people across all projects. Users can get an instant view into the progress, activity and workload of individual team members across all the projects they are working on. It can also reveal if each person will hit their expectations demonstrated through a “personal burndown”.
My Perspective View
The "My Perspective View" helps users track their assigned work across all the projects they are working on by displaying all their items grouped by state – not started, in progress and done.
"The key design principles behind TeamPulse xView™ is to show all project hot spots and indicate the need for a conversation at a single glance." said Joel Semeniuk, executive vice president, Agile Project Management Division, Telerik. "We have also taken into account today’s diverse technology and platforms landscape. TeamPulse xView™ is built entirely on HTML5 which makes it usable on virtually any device."
TeamPulse xView™ comes as an extension of TeamPulse and is included at no extra cost to licensed users.
