While having a central location for all tasks, files and conversations is important for the collaboration in any team, it’s vital for distributed teams.
The activity stream in TeamPulse is a live updates feed which allows you to stay up to date with what is happening on your projects. It displays updates like new or updated work items, and comments made to work items. In addition to following the project activity, you can also jump into conversations or pull in other users.
You can attach anything relevant to work items, like documents, mocks or video. This way when someone starts working on them, they will have all the necessary information in one place.
In TeamPulse collaboration software, everyone can vote for what they think will bring most value to the project. Users can vote externally on the Ideas and Feedback portal and team members can vote internally using the built in voting mechanism. This way everyone can contribute to determining which are the most valuable items, so you can later schedule them for development.
Want to make sure everyone on the team is looking at the same thing? Just filter, sort or group the data you wish everyone to see, the way you want them to see it, and save it as a shared view.
If you want to get updates delivered to you on the go, you can use the built-in email notification system. It sends you detailed reports on all the events you are interested in, as they occur.
