When trying to upload images, RadEditor outputs an error requiring a virtual path. Some hosting companie only allow full URLs when uploading files. Something like c:\myaccount\myname\applicationroot\imagesfolder would work, but ~/images will not. SOLUTION
Some additional info on how the paths works:
- when the file path begins with a forward slash "/" then it is pointing to the wwwroot directory;
- when the file path begins with either "../" or "~/" then it is pointing to the root of the web application.
Access outside of the wwwroot directory is forbidden because of the way the .NET framework and the IIS are set up. There is no need to use full paths and folders and applications should be within your wwwroot directory. Use of a path similar to: c:/myaccount/myname/applicationroot will output an error.
The use of a folder located in the wwwroot (or in the web application itself) is the correct approach.
