HOW-TO Use/display special characters in RadComboBoxSOLUTION Below are the two possible scenarios:Defining the combobox structure through XMLIf you use a xml file to populate the combobox, you need to set the proper character encoding at the top of the page. For most European languages, you have to use encoding="ISO-8859-1" at the top of the xml file, i.e. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?><Items> <Item Text="Sofia" Value="1" /> ....................Defining the combobox structure programmaticallyIn general, RadComboBox should display special characters as long as you set the appropriate charset encoding in your HTML/ASPX page. Here is an example: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-XXXX">You will need to find the proper charset for the needed language and you should be done.
