    PROJECT DESCRIPTION
You might have a case in which the date is not required so only when users enter a wrong date, you will have to notify them and stop the form from submitting. For this scenario you will need a way to know if the date is invalid or simply left blank and still be able to validate it, without making the DatePicker field required. The attached project shows you how to achieve the desired functionality with the help of CustomValidator.
