German RadScheduler and RadSchedulerNavigator Localization

    PROJECT DESCRIPTION

    This project contains a german localization provider for the telerik RadScheduler and RadSchedulerNavigator Q3'09 - Release.

    The demo project shows a RadScheduler and RadSchedulerNavigator with the german localization.

    It is possible to change the localization back to english by pushing the 'English'-Button.
    Pressing the 'German'-Button changes the localisation to german.

    The localization of the RadScheduler was a bit more difficult to do as there was not enough space for some of the translated texts. But after i found out on how to do it with the help of the telerik support i was able to rearrange the location and size of the controls on the SchedulerDialogs. Take a look at the constructor of the CustomRecurrenceEditForm class.

     usage:

                // Initialisierung  
                this.radSchedulerNavigator1.DateFormat = "dd/MM/yyyy";  
                this.radScheduler1.AppointmentFactory = new CustomAppointmentFactory( );  
                // Localization  
                SchedulerNavigatorLocalizationProvider.CurrentProvider = new GermanScheduleNavigatorLocalization( );  
                RadSchedulerLocalizationProvider.CurrentProvider = new GermanRadSchedulerLocalization( );

    Hi Boyko,

    thank you for updateing the telerik points.

    When i browse the codelibrary and click in the localization Providers forum i can't see this posting.
    Is there any reason why this post is hidden for the users ?

    Hello,
      I posted a generic localization provider (kind of generic) and the post is also not visible in the forum ( http://www.telerik.com/community/code-library/winforms/localization-providers/multilingual-french-german-but-extensible-radmessagebox-radtreeview-radgridview-raddock.aspx )...
      I noticed it is visible in the RSS (like this post was visible before in the RSS flow)...

      I may add RadScheduler translation to the "multi-lingual" library I made :o)

    Stephane, your code library was not available at the Code Library section, because code library articles should be first approved by the Telerik support staff and then published on our site. Your article is now public and available to the other users.

    Ramius, I not sure what is the reason which prevented you from seeing your article on our site, but as you can notice, Stephane was able to write in this thread so it is public. Please try accessing the current article from our Code Library section again. You should have no issues with its visibility.

    Thanks for explanation of "post validation".
    Ramius : do you mind if I take your translation code to put in my generic module ?
    I may also take other localizations posted here (we don't plan other languages yet in my project but who knows...)
