    PROJECT DESCRIPTION
    Have you ever thought how creative can you get with Windows Forms? Well, with Telerik RadControls you can build a whole new class of visually rich applications. Check out the Bookstore Kiosk Demo – it looks like WPF, but it’s not.

    The Bookstore Kiosk Demo demonstrates the unmatched WPF-like visual attractiveness of Telerik RadControls for WinForms. It simulates a bookstore kiosk system, much like the one you would use in your local bookstore. You can browse books, check book availability, and even see the current book inventory through the use of the Telerik Reporting tool.

    Key Highlights:
    • Extensive use of Telerik UI controls and Reporting – The Bookstore Kiosk Demo illustrates how to combine our award-winning components to deliver elaborate UI. Books are listed in Telerik RadGirdView, details are shown in transparent RadPanel, and the book contents exhibit RadTreeView. Bookstore Kiosk Demo also showcases Telerik Reporting in the Inventory Report section;

    • Transparency and animations – The application simulates vibrant WPF-like user experience by utilizing transparency, scaling, zooming, motion and easings. Experience the power of Telerik Presentation Framework and the built-in animation support. See the exclusive UI and learn how to use its full potential;

    • Unprecedented UI – Inspired by the visual attractiveness of WPF and Web 2.0 best practices, the Kiosk demo comes as a showcase of unprecedented UI attractiveness, swiftly achieved with our powerful RadControls for WinForms

    • Created in just a week by two developers – Thanks to the Visual Style builder – a standalone utility –  developers (and designers alike!) are able to build stylesheets for completely codeless customization of control appearance and behavior

    • Highlighted on TechEd 2007

    • The application comes with full source code and includes the trial versions of Telerik RadControls for WinForms.
