Telerik Awarded in a Best Employer Study

We are proud to announce that for a second year in a row, Telerik has been recognized in the Best Employer in Bulgaria study, conducted annually by Hewitt Associates, the world's leading provider of human resources outsourcing and consulting services. Telerik ranked #4 in the Small and Medium Sized Companies Category, and is the only Bulgarian company from the IT sector recognized in the study.

Over 360 senior managers and 13,000 employees from 84 companies participated in this year's study. The final results were based on feedback from the company's employees, the firm's people management policies, and the views of the top management. The key statistics influencing the final rank of each company was the engagement of its employees.

RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX

The ASP.NET AJAX suite further establishes its position as the preferred and most mature toolset for building rich and responsive web applications. One of the focal points is that RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX are now able to work in the new Microsoft ASP.NET MVC framework. RadControls for WinForms

The axis of the new release is the new RadScheduler control, which offers rich Outlook�-style functionality with swift performance, simplified deployment and limitless customization capabilities. Telerik Acquires Vanatec and Adds ORM to its Product Portfolio

Sofia, Bulgaria - October 10, 2008 - Telerik, a leading vendor of developer tools and UI components for .NET, today announced that it has acquired Vanatec, a German company specialized in Object Relational Mapping (ORM) software. The latest acquisition will allow Telerik to offer an Enterprise-grade ORM product to its customer base and marks another step in the company's strategy to reduce development complexity in .NET applications.

"In today's .NET enterprise applications approximately 30% to 50% of the code is dedicated to data access. At the same time, the majority of the application bugs usually come from that same data layer", says Hristo Kosev, CTO of Telerik. "OpenAccess ORM is designed to bring the number of coding hours and possibilities for bugs to a minimum, leaving developers focused on the core business logic rather than on the infrastructure.
