Telerik UI for Windows Phone by Progress

Here is a snapshot:

Uniform Grid-Features-First Column Row-01

If you set the FirstColumnVisibility to Collapsed, you should see the following:

Uniform Grid-Features-First Column Row-02

The RadUniformGrid control allows you to manage the visibility of its first row and first column. This is done by the FristColumnVisibility and the FirstRowVisibility properties. When set to False the first row or column gets hidden and doesn't take place on the screen.

Note
By default both the first column and the first row are visible.

This can be useful if you have a RadUniformGrid control in which some of the elements serve as column headers or row headers. At some point you might want to hide them. Here is an example of such a grid:

<telerikPrimitives:RadUniformGrid x:Name="radUniformGrid" NumberOfColumns="3" NumberOfRows="2"> <Border BorderBrush="White" BorderThickness="1" /> <Border BorderBrush="White" BorderThickness="1"> <TextBlock Text="Column 1" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" /> </Border> <Border BorderBrush="White" BorderThickness="1"> <TextBlock Text="Column 2" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" /> </Border> <Border BorderBrush="White" BorderThickness="1"> <TextBlock Text="Row 1" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" /> </Border> <TextBlock Text="Content" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" /> <TextBlock Text="Content" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" /> </telerikPrimitives:RadUniformGrid>
