Telerik UI for Windows Phone by Progress

The RadPickerBox control allows you to control the placement of the Popup Window. This is done via the PopupPlacement and PopupPlacementTarget properties.

The PopupPlacementTarget property specifies the visual element towards which the popup should be displayed. The PopupPlacement property specifies the position of the popup. You can choose between the following values.

  • BottomCenter
  • BottomLeft
  • BottomRight
  • CenterCenter
  • CenterLeft
  • CenterRight
  • TopCenter
  • TopLeft
  • TopRight
You have to set the IsFullScreen property to False and PopupSizeMode to AutoSize in order to use the placement properties.

Here is an example, where the popup is placed relatively to the 'LayoutRoot' Grid and its position is BottomLeft.

      <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="Black" Width="300" Height="500">
      <telerikPrimitives:RadPickerBox x:Name="radPickerBox" Content="Open
Popup" VerticalAlignment="Center" HorizontalAlignment="Center" Grid.Row="1" PopupPlacement="BottomLeft" PopupPlacementTarget="{Binding
ElementName=LayoutRoot}" IsFullScreen="False" PopupSizeMode="AutoSize">
      <Border Background="Orange" Padding="20">
      <Button Content="Close" Click="Button_Click" />

Here is a snapshot of the result.
