Telerik UI for Windows Phone by Progress

RadJumpList shows a group header before every group. The values in the group headers are defined by the group descriptor.

If you want to modify the way in which the group headers get visualized, you can use the GroupHeaderTemplate property and provide a DataTemplate for this purpose. Here is an example:

        <Border Width="30" Height="30" Background="Green">
            <TextBlock FontSize="20" Text="{Binding}" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Margin="2" />

Here is a snapshot of the result.

Defining the behavior of the Group Headers when in Wrap Mode

To fine-tune the positioning of the Group Headers when in Wrap Mode, you should use the JumpListWrapVirtualizationStrategyDefinition class to activate the Wrap Layout mode. The JumpListWrapVirtualizationStrategyDefinition class exposes the GroupHeaderWrapMode property. This property accepts the following values:

  • Default - group headers are positined inline with the regular data items
  • Stretch - group headers are positined within a single wrap line in the wrap layout
