Telerik UI for Windows Phone by Progress

RadDataBoundListBox supports the native ScrollViewer's attached properties VerticalScrollBarVisibility and HorizontalScrollBarVisibility. You can use these properties to control the behavior of the listbox' scrollbar according to the scrolling orientation.

Note
The ScrollBarMode property used to control the scrollbar behavior is obsolete and is no longer working.

Using the ScrollViewer's properties on RadDataBoundListBox

You can set the ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollBarVisibility attached property on RadDataBoundListBox to control the behavior of the scrollbar when the scrolling orientation in the control is vertical. Setting the ScrollViewer.HorizontalScrollBarVisibility attached property in such scenarios will not have any effect on the scrolling behavior.

The following XAML code snippet demonstrates how this is done:

CopyXAML
<telerikPrimitives:RadDataBoundListBox x:Name="radDataBoundListBox" ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Visible" Height="200" Width="180" />

You can set the ScrollViewer.HorizontalScrollBarVisibility attached property on RadDataBoundListBox to control the behavior of the scrollbar when the scrolling orientation in the control is horizontal. Setting the ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollBarVisibility attached property in such scenarios will not have any effect on the scrolling behavior.

The following XAML code snippet demonstrates how this is done:

CopyXAML
<telerikPrimitives:RadDataBoundListBox x:Name="radDataBoundListBox" ScrollViewer.HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Visible" Height="200" Width="180" />

Note
The scrolling orientation in RadDataBoundListBox is controlled by the currently defined Virtualization Strategy.
