Local IIS is one of the profilee types that JustTrace enables you to choose from.
Local IIS profilee type allows you to profile web sites, web services or other .NET components deployed on local IIS server.
To setup a profilee you have to specify the URL of its default page. To start profiling JustTrace has to restart all IIS application pools.
That is why it is currently limited to profiling only one IIS target at a time.
- URL - parameter should be the default web site page.
- Restart IIS - instructs JustTrace to restart IIS services before profiling.
- Use browser - browser to launch
At present this feature is available on these operating systems:
- Windows XP (only with default configuration of IIS)
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7
- Windows 8
- Windows Server 2003
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows Server 2008 R2
- Windows Server 2012
Before starting the profilee, JustTrace will automatically grant the IIS account write permissions to the temp folder of the interactive account.
To learn more about profiler types refer to Profiler Types topic.
After you finish configuring both the Profilee and Profiler press the Run button to start the profiler.
